Port Description

The port of Rhodes is situated on the north tip of the island. It’s position allows the approaching vessel to clearly view the port from a distance as the entrance is wide and all berths are visible.
Local ferries use berths at Akandia pier and cruise vessels use the main Pier. On days with congested traffic berths at Akandia pier are used also. There are no navigational restrictions when approaching. Southeast winds do tend to build up during the afternoon, mainly in August.
