The variety of shops gathered in the stone-paved alleyways of the Medieval Town streets provides the visitor with an endless variety. Classic and modern jewellery, leather goods, antique carpets, furniture, paintings and porcelain are only few of the products on sale there. There is also a retail outlet of the Rhodes winery which makes wine from the Mandelaria and Athiri variety.
The bustling shops of the new town offer a range of commercial products. The restaurants situated within the castle walls offer mostly Greek specialties as well as Mediterranean cuisine. Restaurants in the new town offer a larger variety in cuisine, although here one may find also the typical Greek tavern.
